A very close game took place in Izmit between OGM Orman and Kagitspor. Sixth ranked OGM Orman (5-3) got a very close victory on the road over 13th ranked Kagitspor (2-6). OGM Orman managed to escape with a 1-point win 79-78 on Sunday evening. Guest team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. The best player for the winners was guard Kerem Ozel (183-97) who scored 19 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. American-Nigerian center Andy Ogide (206-87, college: Colorado St.) chipped in a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds. American point guard JVon McCormick (183-8, college: Auburn) produced 18 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists and Mehmet Kizil (-96) added 11 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. OGM Orman moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Mamak and Manisa. Kagitspor lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the thirteenth position with six games lost. They share it with Fethiye and Mersin BBGSK. OGM Orman will meet Balikesir (#8) on the road in the next round. Kagitspor will play against Mamak (#6) in Ankara and hope to secure a win.
