An interesting game for Titans (8-0) which hosted in Dresden 4th ranked Loewen (5-3). Top-ranked Titans managed to get a 5-point victory 86-81. Titans made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Loewen's players. Center Georg Voigtmann (213-94) notched 8 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the effort and point guard Nico Wenzl (185-1) supported him with 15 points. Even 26 points and 6 rebounds by American Tyseem Lyles (185-92, college: Mercy) did not help to save the game for Loewen. Noah Kamdem (198-98) added 21 points and 8 rebounds for lost side. Four Loewen players scored in double figures. Titans have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They maintain first position in South with 8-0 record. Loewen at the other side keeps the fourth place with three games lost. They share the position with Frankfurt Jrs. Titans will meet league's second-placed Koblenz on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Loewen will play against Arvato College Wizards and hope to secure a win.
