Regular Season Round 7: SISU - Amager 65-76

Very significant was Amager's (#2, 4-2) victory against 3rd placed SISU (2-3) 76-65. The guests trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 3-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 76-65. Amager forced 21 SISU turnovers. It was a great evening for the former international center Rikke Fabricius (186-92, college: CMU) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. The former international guard Ena Viso (177-93, college: S.Dakota St.) helped adding 16 points and 6 rebounds. Five Amager players scored in double figures. At the losing side Josefine Haabegaard (180-99) responded with 18 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists and international point guard Asta Blauenfeldt (168-2) scored 18 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. SISU's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Amager maintains second place with 4-2 record behind leader Falcon. SISU at the other side keeps the third position with three games lost. Amager are looking forward to face league's leader Falcon in Copenhagen in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. SISU will play at home against Herlev and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
