Regular Season Round 9: Fethiye - Akhisar Bld 80-76

Bottom-ranked Akhisar Bld (0-9) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 80-76 loss to thirteenth ranked Fethiye (3-6) in Fethiye. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. It was a good game for American forward Will Daniels (202-86, college: URI) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 10 rebounds. Ahmet Tunali (203-92) contributed with 15 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Four Fethiye players scored in double figures. Fethiye's coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. American forward AlLonzo Coleman (207-89, college: Presbyterian) answered with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds and the other American import point guard DaQuan Bracey (180-97, college: Louisiana Tech) added 19 points, 5 assists and 4 steals in the effort for Akhisar Bld. Fethiye moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with TED Ankara and Antalya. Akhisar Bld at the other side still closes the standings with nine games lost. Fethiye will play against higher ranked Gemlik (#10) in Bursa in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Akhisar Bld will play at home against Manisa (#5) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
