There was a small surprise in Ankara where fourteenth ranked Yalova (3-7) beat 12th ranked Turk Telekom (3-7) 80-68. Yalova made 23-of-27 charity shots (85.2 percent) during the game. It was a very good performance for American swingman CJ Williams (196-90, college: NC State) who helped to win the game recording 25 points. The other American import point guard Lamont Jones (183-90, college: Iona) contributed with 10 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners. American Aaron Harrison (198-94, college: Kentucky, agency: Network Sports International) replied with 21 points and 5 rebounds and American-Kazakhstan point guard Anthony Clemmons (187-94, college: Iowa, agency: Inception Sports) added 13 points in the effort for Turk Telekom. Turk Telekom's coach Burak Goren rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Yalova moved-up to thirteenth place, which they share with defeated Turk Telekom. Yalova will play against higher ranked Buyukcekmece (#12) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Turk Telekom will play against Merkezefendi in Denizl and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
