There was an upset when higher ranked Ludwigsburg (5-5) was defeated at home by fourteenth ranked Ulm BBU 01 (3-7) 81-72 on Wednesday. Ulm BBU 01 looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Nat-Sidi Diallo (208-0) who helped to win the game recording 25 points and American Jacob Ensminger (203-4) who added 8 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was point guard Johannes Patrick (185-1) with 23 points and 7 assists and point guard Lukas Herzog (187-1, agency: Octagon Europe) scored 22 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Ulm BBU 01 moved-up to eleventh place in South West, which they share with Langen and Mannheim. Loser Ludwigsburg dropped to the sixth position with five games lost.
