Top ranked Westerstede (9-3) recorded its third loss at the home court on Saturday night. Hosts were edged by eleventh ranked Bramsche (5-7) 70-69. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Westerstede. The best player for the winners was American center Cole Walker (206, college: Ferris St., agency: Hamriding Sports Management) who had a double-double by scoring 26 points and 11 rebounds. Moritz Dresing (194-1) chipped in 8 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was point guard Fritz Hemschemeier (182-98) who recorded 16 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists and Serbian Jovan Savic (202-2) added 16 points respectively. Bramsche moved-up to tenth place in North, which they share with Wusterhausen. Westerstede at the other side still keeps top position with three games lost. They share it with Aschersleben and Vechta 2. Bramsche is looking forward to face higher ranked Stade (#4) at home in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Westerstede will play against Berlin BG 2000 and is hoping to win this game.
