Regular Season Round 9: LTH Castings - Postojna 83-58

There was no surprise in Skofja Loka where 8th ranked Postojna (3-6) was crushed by third ranked LTH Castings (7-2) 83-58 on Saturday. The game without a history. LTH Castings led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Power forward Rade Rodic (199-94) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds for the winners and guard Anze Zdolsek (184-92) chipped in 13 points. Four LTH Castings players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was point guard Peter Meze (183-1) with 18 points and Croatian center Vjeran Soldo (206-84) scored 14 points and 7 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. LTH Castings moved-up to second place, which they share with Troti. Loser Postojna keeps the eighth position with six games lost. They share it with Medvode. LTH Castings will meet league's leader Slovan in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Postojna will play against Ljubljana (#12) and hope to secure a win.
