Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard TreVion Crews (183-96, college: Bethel, IN) who helped to win the game recording 28 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and Ferdinand Zylka (191-98) who added 21 points and 6 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was American point guard James Washington (182-87, college: MTSU) with 15 points and 6 assists (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) and his fellow American import swingman Preston Purifoy (196-92, college: UAB, agency: Players Group) scored 17 points and 4 assists. Four Lions and five Rasta Vechta players scored in double figures. Rasta Vechta's coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Lions moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with Art.Dragons. Loser Rasta Vechta keeps the fifteenth position with nine games lost. Lions will meet at home higher ranked Schwenningen (#10) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Rasta Vechta will play against Ehingen/Urspringschule (#17) in Allmendingen and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
