No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked Leverkusen (7-4) smashed on the road 8th ranked Schwenningen (5-5) 100-74 on Saturday. Leverkusen shot 63.8 percent from the field. They also forced 21 Schwenningen turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The game was dominated by American players. Worth to mention a great performance of JJ Mann (198-91, college: Belmont, agency: GoEmpire Group) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 5 rebounds and guard Quentin Goodin (193-97, college: Xavier) who added 13 points during the contest. Five Leverkusen players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was power forward Quatarrius Wilson (204-96, college: SEMO) with 16 points and 8 rebounds and swingman Raiquan Clark (198, college: LIU Brooklyn) scored 19 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Leverkusen moved-up to fourth place. Schwenningen lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the tenth position with five games lost. Leverkusen will meet at home Phoenix Hagen (#14) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Schwenningen will play against Lions (#13) in Karlsruhe and hope to secure a win.
