Regular Season Round 9: Besiktas - TED Ankara 101-56

There was no surprise when 6th ranked TED Ankara (4-5) was outleveled by second ranked Besiktas (8-1) in Istanbul 101-56 on Wednesday. Besiktas dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to TED Ankara's 30. Besiktas forced 25 TED Ankara turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by TED Ankara's players. Tolga Deliktas (-3) nailed 21 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side and Emir Adiguzel (-3) accounted for 21 points and 5 assists. Four Besiktas players scored in double figures. Yavuz Osmanli (-3) came up with 15 points and Ozcan Korkut (-2) added 12 points respectively for TED Ankara in the defeat. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Besiktas maintains second place in League with 8-1 record despite having the same number of points like the leader Anadolu Efes. Loser TED Ankara keeps the sixth position with five games lost. Besiktas will meet Bahcesehir (#8) in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. TED Ankara will play against Tofas and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
