Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both sixth ranked Targu Mures and 7th ranked Targu Secuiesc had identical 4-3 record. This time Targu Mures used a home court advantage and rolled over the opponent from Targu Secuiesc 89-54 on Friday night. The game without a history. Targu Mures led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Targu Secuiesc's 30. American power forward Ruth Sherrill (183-94, college: Temple) had a double-double by scoring 22 points and 14 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and point guard Ruxandra Chis (176-93) chipped in 8 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists during the contest. At the losing side American guard Jaiamoni Welch-Coleman (165-97, college: Weber St.) responded with 14 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists and Serbian point guard Ines Corda (169-95) scored 13 points and 5 assists. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Targu Mures (5-3) moved-up to fifth place. Loser Targu Secuiesc keeps the seventh position with four games lost. Targu Mures will meet league's leader Arad on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Targu Secuiesc will play against Botosani (#13) and hope to secure a win.
