Regular Season Round 12: Hanau - Bball Loewen 78-80

The most exciting game of round 12 in the ProB took place in Hanau. This derby game ended with only two-point home defeat of 8th ranked White Wings (3-6) to fourth ranked Loewen (7-3) 80-78 on Saturday evening. Loewen forced 21 White Wings turnovers. 29 personal fouls committed by White Wings helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of Ivorian-French swingman Guy Landry Edi (202-88, college: Gonzaga) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 29 points and 13 rebounds and point guard Miles Osei (196-2) who added 20 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Four Loewen players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was point guard Niklas Krause (198-2) with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists and American swingman JD Tisdale (196-93, college: Rogers St.) scored 25 points and 5 assists. Loewen moved-up to third place in South, which they share with OrangeAcad. White Wings at the other side dropped to the tenth position with six games lost. They share it with Coburg. Loewen is looking forward to face league's second-placed Koblenz at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. White Wings will play against Deisenhofen (#5) and are hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
