Not a big story in a game when 11th ranked Bramsche (5-8) was edged at home by fourth ranked Stade (8-5) 88-85 on Saturday. Guard Marvin Boadu (193-89) stepped up and scored 27 points and 7 rebounds for the winners and Jamo Ruppert (188-94) chipped in 14 points and 6 rebounds. At the losing side American center Cole Walker (206, college: Ferris St., agency: Hamriding Sports Management) responded with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds and Christopher Meyer (198-98) scored 15 points and 6 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws). Five Stade and four Bramsche players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Stade maintains fourth place in North with 8-5 record. Loser Bramsche keeps the eleventh position with eight games lost. Stade will meet Neustadt TSV (#5) on the road in the next round. Bramsche will play against Berlin BG 2000 (#7) and hope to secure a win.
