Regular Season Round 12: Tofas - Pinar Karsiyaka 69-71

The most exciting game of round 12 in the BSL took place in Bursa. This derby game ended with only two-point home defeat of 6th ranked Tofas (7-5) to fourth ranked Pinar Karsiyaka (9-3) 71-69 on Sunday evening. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Tofas. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Tony Taylor (184-90, college: GWU) who helped to win the game recording 14 points and 4 assists and American Bonzie Colson Jr (198-96, college: Notre Dame) who added 10 points, 8 rebounds and 4 blocks during the contest. The best for the losing side was Mexican Francisco Cruz (191-89, college: Wyoming) with 16 points and 4 assists and American guard Kasey Shepherd (189-94, college: La-Lafayette) scored 12 points and 6 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Tofas' coach Hakan Demir rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Pinar Karsiyaka moved-up to third place. Tofas at the other side keeps the sixth position with five games lost. They share it with Galatasaray.
