No shocking result in a game in Dresden where first ranked Titans (9-1) outleveled 7th ranked Speyer (5-6) 103-76 on Sunday. Titans dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Speyer's 36. They shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 51.9 percentage. Titans looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Speyer's players. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Titans made 7 blocks. The best player for the winners was naturalized American Grant Teichmann (191-96, college: C-N) who scored 27 points and 4 assists. Center Georg Voigtmann (213-94) chipped in a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds. Five Titans players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American DJ Woodmore (190-92, college: VWU) who recorded 14 points and naturalized American guard Kelvin Omojola (184-97, college: Northwest) added 17 points respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Titans maintains first position in South with 9-1 record. Loser Speyer keeps the seventh place with six games lost. Titans will meet Skyliners II (#6) in the next round where they are favorite. Speyer will have a break next round.
