Regular Season Round 9: Gaziantep - Tofas 87-70

U19 League top team - Gaziantep (9-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they beat fifth ranked Tofas (4-5) 87-70. Gaziantep forced 21 Tofas turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. Guard Ibrahim Yilmaz (192-5) stepped up and scored 31 points and 6 assists for the winners and guard Emir Sivas (176-5) chipped in 16 points and 4 assists. The best for the losing side was Enis Col (-3) with 20 points and 8 rebounds and center Baran Yurdusen (198-4) scored 17 points and 5 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Gaziantep maintains first place in League with 9-0 record. Tofas at the other side keeps the fifth position with five games lost. Gaziantep will play against Tesvikiye (#7) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Tofas will play against TED Ankara and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
