Bottom-ranked Amager (0-10) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 82-72 loss to ninth ranked Copenhagen (4-8) in Kastrup. They also forced 29 Amager turnovers. Spanish guard Andrew Ramirez (188-97, college: Hartford) orchestrated the victory by scoring 22 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals. American power forward Durell Vinson (202-85, college: Wagner) contributed with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Copenhagen's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Forward Magnus Bjornaa (195-96, college: Potomac St.) answered with 22 points and 5 rebounds and forward Tomas Bjarkason (204-99, college: Lewis) added 13 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Amager. Copenhagen moved-up to eighth place. Amager lost their tenth game in a row. They still close the standings with ten games lost. Copenhagen will play against league's second-placed Svendborg on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Amager will play against BAC (#7) in Aarhus and hopes to get finally their first victory.
