Regular Season Round 11: Wolfpack - Svendborg 79-100

The game in Herlev supposed to be also quite interesting. Second ranked Svendborg (9-1) played at the court of 6th ranked Wolfpack (4-6). Svendborg smashed Wolfpack 100-79 on Saturday. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Wolfpack. Svendborg dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Wolfpack's 36. They outrebounded Wolfpack 46-27 including a 17-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. Svendborg looked well-organized offensively handing out 33 assists. It was a great evening for American-Armenian guard Corey Silverstrom (196-95, college: Chico St.) who led his team to a victory scoring 35 points (!!!), 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Bahamas Aaron Levarity (203-97, college: Milligan) helped adding 17 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Four Svendborg players scored in double figures. Montenegrin point guard Danijel Marsenic (184-1) responded with 13 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists and Mile Nedic (201-94, college: Lindenwood) scored 12 points and 4 assists. Wolfpack's coach gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. The victory was the third consecutive win for Svendborg. They maintain second place with 9-1 record having just one point less than leader Bakken. Loser Wolfpack keeps the sixth position with six games lost. Svendborg will meet at home Copenhagen (#8) in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Wolfpack will play against the league's leader Bakken and hope to secure a win.
