Top ranked Titans (9-2) recorded its second loss in Frankfurt on Saturday night. Visitors were rolled over by sixth ranked Skyliners II (6-5) 84-57. Skyliners II outrebounded Titans 44-29 including 32 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. Konstantin Schubert (200-98) fired a double-double by scoring 13 points and 14 rebounds for the winners. Matthew Meredith (200-0) chipped in 17 points and 4 assists. Four Skyliners II players scored in double figures. Center Georg Voigtmann (213-94) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds and naturalized American Grant Teichmann (191-96, college: C-N) added 8 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Skyliners II maintains sixth place in South with 6-5 record. Titans at the other side still keep top position with two games lost. Skyliners II are looking forward to face higher ranked Deisenhofen (#5) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Titans will play against Bayern (#12) and are hoping to win this game.
