Regular Season Round 13: Oberhaching - Hanau 78-52
Date: December 18, 2021
Not a big story in a game when 9th ranked White Wings (4-7) were outplayed on the road by fifth ranked Deisenhofen (7-4) 78-52 on Saturday. Deisenhofen dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to White Wings' 28. They outrebounded White Wings 47-31 including 32 on the defensive glass. Center Fynn Fischer (208-99) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 12 rebounds for the winners and Bernhard Benke (208-97) chipped in 12 points and 11 rebounds. Four Deisenhofen players scored in double figures. At the losing side American swingman JD Tisdale (196-93, college: Rogers St.) responded with 12 points and 6 rebounds and Philip Hecker (193-2) scored 11 points and 5 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Deisenhofen have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain fifth place in South with 7-4 record. Loser White Wings dropped to the eighth position with seven games lost. They share it with Giessen 2. Deisenhofen will meet at home Skyliners II (#6) in the next round. White Wings will have a break next round.
