Pinar Karsiyaka was defeated by Turk Telekom in a tough game in Karsiyaka 71-76. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Pinar Karsiyaka. His fellow American import JaJuan Johnson (208-89, college: Purdue) chipped in 13 points. Turk Telekom's coach Burak Goren used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Point guard Tony Taylor (184-90, college: GWU) produced 20 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and Senegalese-French Amath MBaye (205-89, college: Oklahoma) added 24 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Turk Telekom moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Bursaspor. Pinar Karsiyaka at the other side keeps the third position with four games lost. Turk Telekom is looking forward to face league's leader Fenerbahce in Istanbul in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Pinar Karsiyaka will play on the road against Buyukcekmece and is hoping to win this game.
