Regular Season Round 14: Kronberg - Mannheim 103-92

There was no surprise when 12th ranked Mannheim (3-8) was defeated on the road by fourth ranked Kronberg (8-4) 103-92 on Saturday. Kronberg looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. Noah Litzbach (196-0) scored 26 points and 6 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and naturalized Eritrean forward Jonathan Mesghna (198-89, college: MSUB) chipped in 21 points during the contest. Kronberg's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American guard Jeremy Ingram (183-91, college: AAMU) responded with 47 points (!!!) and 6 assists and swingman Alexander Kuhn (198-92) scored 13 points and 9 rebounds. Kronberg moved-up to third place in South West, which they share with Giessen. Mannheim lost eighth consecutive game. They dropped to the thirteenth position with eight games lost. Kronberg will meet Tuebingen 2 (#5) on the road in the next round. Mannheim will play against Fellbach (#7) and hope to secure a win.
