Sixth-ranked TAC NEF (3-7) gave a tough game to second ranked Ozel Gelisim Koleji (8-2) in Tarsus on Sunday. The visitors from Izmir managed to secure only one-point victory 69-68. However their fans expected much easier game. Ozel Gelisim Koleji forced 19 TAC NEF turnovers. Forward Mehmet Atalan (198-3) had a double-double by scoring 20 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Emre Girgin (-4, agency: BeoBasket) chipped in 17 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists during the contest. Ozel Gelisim Koleji's coach Cem Akdag used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Four TAC NEF players scored in double figures. Ozel Gelisim Koleji maintains second position in League with 8-2 record behind leader Anadolu Efes. TAC NEF at the other side keeps the sixth place with seven games lost. Ozel Gelisim Koleji are looking forward to face league's leader Anadolu Efes in Istanbul in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. TAC NEF will play on the road against Bursaspor (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
