Important game to mention about took place in Stahnsdorf. Fifth ranked TKS 49ers (8-4) saved a 2-point victory at home edging much higher ranked Wolmirstedt (8-4) 62-60 in the fight for the second place. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Wolmirstedt. Wolmirstedt was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of center Niklas Ney (208-95, college: Mercer) who helped to win the game recording 16 points and 9 rebounds. Center Robin Jorch (211-94, college: Boise St.) contributed with 9 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Forward Marc Nagora (203-93) answered with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 14 rebounds and point guard Martin Bogdanov (186-92) added 15 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Wolmirstedt. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. TKS 49ers moved-up to second place in North, which they share with Wedel and Wolmirstedt. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
