Regular Season Round 9: Rilski - Chernomorets 82-71

An interesting game for Rilski (9-0) which hosted in Samokov second-best Chernomorets (7-2). Leader Rilski managed to get a 11-point victory 82-71. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Chernomorets. Rilski made 16-of-18 free shots (88.9 percent) during the game. It was a good game for American point guard Brandon Brown (180-91, college: LMU) who led his team to a victory with 17 points and 6 rebounds. His fellow American import forward Trey Porter (208-96, college: Nevada) contributed with 14 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Five Rilski players scored in double figures. Rilski's coach Ludmil Hadjisotirov used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Georgi Boyanov (201-93, college: USA) answered with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 13 rebounds and American center Wendell Lewis (208-89, college: Alabama St.) added 16 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Chernomorets. Rilski have an impressive series of nine victories in a row. They maintain first place with 9-0 record. Chernomorets at the other side keeps the second position with two games lost. They share it with Levski. Rilski are looking forward to face Shumen (#9) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Chernomorets will play against Akademik P. (#7) in Plovdiv and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
