Bottom-ranked Ehingen/Urspringschule (0-14) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 111-91 loss to ninth ranked Lions (7-6) in Allmendingen. They made 23-of-30 charity shots (76.7 percent) during the game. Lions outrebounded Ehingen/Urspringschule 45-31 including a 37-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three nailing 14 long-distance shots on high 56.0 percentage. Lions players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Lions. They moved-up to seventh place. Ehingen/Urspringschule lost their fourteenth game in a row. They still close the standings with 14 games lost. Lions will play against league's leader Seawolves in Rostock in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Ehingen/Urspringschule will play on the road against Schwenningen (#10) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
