BasketLigaen top team - Bakken (11-0) had no problems winning another game on Wednesday. This time they crushed sixth ranked Wolfpack (4-7) in Herlev 110-78. Bakken dominated down low during the game scoring 74 of its points in the paint compared to Wolfpack's 34. Bakken forced 24 Wolfpack turnovers and outrebounded them 53-42 including 19 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 33 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Bakken made 7 blocks. It was a good game for American center Travis Taylor (203-90, college: Xavier, agency: Slash Sports) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 16 rebounds. Kenyan forward Tylor Ongwae (201-91, college: ULM) contributed with 20 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Five Bakken players scored in double figures. International forward Leonardo Carlino (198-0) replied with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists and point guard Andreas Mortensen (190-1) added 19 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Wolfpack. Wolfpack's coach gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Bakken have an impressive 11-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 11-0 record. Wolfpack at the other side dropped to the seventh place with seven games lost. Bakken's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Aarhus BAC.
