Regular Season Round 15: Koblenz - Giessen 2 83-65

Very predictable result when third ranked Koblenz (10-3) defeated at home 10th ranked Rackelos (4-9) 83-65 on Sunday. They outrebounded Rackelos 39-28 including 26 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was forward Brian Butler (196-91) who scored 16 points and 8 rebounds. Dominique Johnson (194-92) chipped in a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international Johannes Lischka (203-87) who recorded a double-double by scoring 20 points and 13 rebounds and Tim Uhlemann (203-99) added 12 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Koblenz moved-up to second place, which they share with OrangeAcad. Rackelos lost third consecutive game. They keep the tenth position with nine games lost. Koblenz will meet Coburg (#9) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Rackelos will have a break next round.
