Everything went according to plan in Nuernberg where fourth ranked Falcons (10-6) beat 11th ranked Schwenningen (7-8) 83-76 on Sunday. Falcons made 28-of-36 free shots (77.8 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was American swingman AJ Davis (206-95, college: UCF) who scored 26 points and 4 assists (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line). His fellow American import guard Dupree McBrayer (195-96, college: Minnesota) chipped in 15 points and 7 rebounds. American guard David Cohn (188-95, college: William & Mary) produced 18 points and 4 assists and naturalized American center Waverly Austin (211-91, college: Oregon, agency: BIG) added 14 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Falcons maintains fourth place with 10-6 record. Loser Schwenningen keeps the eleventh position with eight games lost.
