There was an upset when higher ranked Leverkusen (9-7) was defeated at home by twelfth ranked Eisbaeren Bremerhaven (7-8) 112-103 on Sunday. Eisbaeren Bremerhaven shot 63.8 percent from the field. They shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 52.2 percentage. Eisbaeren Bremerhaven looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American guard Quentin Goodin (193-97, college: Xavier) produced 19 points and 6 assists and the other American import JJ Mann (198-91, college: Belmont, agency: GoEmpire Group) added 19 points and 4 steals respectively for the hosts. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Leverkusen's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Eisbaeren Bremerhaven moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Schwenningen. Loser Leverkusen dropped to the sixth position with seven games lost. They share it with Paderborn and Kirchheim.
