Very expected game when 17th ranked 46ers (3-13) lost to sixth ranked BG Goettingen (10-5) in Giessen 76-87 on Saturday. BG Goettingen shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 52.2 percentage. The winners were led by American guard Kamar Baldwin (185-97, college: Butler) who scored that evening 31 points and 4 assists and the other American import point guard Stephen Brown Jr (180-96, college: Bucknell) supported him with 14 points and 4 assists. Even 26 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists by American guard Kendale McCullum (194-96, college: Lewis, agency: Octagon Europe) did not help to save the game for 46ers. Florian Koch (197-92) added 17 points (made all of his seven free throws) for lost side. 46ers' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. BG Goettingen moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Ulm and Chemnitz. 46ers lost eighth consecutive game. They keep the seventeenth position with 13 games lost. BG Goettingen will meet at home Skyliners (#13) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. 46ers will play against ALBA Berlin (#3) and hope to secure a win.
