The game with biggest result difference took place in Afyonkarahisar. Local Afyon Bld (3-13) was outscored by sixth ranked Gaziantep (10-6) 100-63 on Saturday night. Gaziantep dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Afyon Bld's 26. They outrebounded Afyon Bld 51-33 including a 36-25 advantage in defensive rebounds. Gaziantep looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Afyon Bld's players. Worth to mention a quality performance of the former international center Dusan Cantekin (221-90) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds and guard Koray Cekici (186-2) who added 6 points, 9 rebounds and 10 assists during the contest. Afyon Bld lost ninth consecutive game. They keep the fifteenth place with 13 games lost. Gaziantep will meet at home Yalova (#13) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Afyon Bld will play against Turk Telekom in Ankara and hope to secure a win.
