Regular Season Round 15: Tuebingen 2 - Kronberg 98-54

We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 4th placed Kronberg (8-5) was rolled over on the road by fifth ranked Tuebingen 2 (7-5) 98-54 on Saturday. Tuebingen 2 forced 22 Kronberg turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Kronberg's players. It was a great evening for Danish Bakary Dibba (206-1, agency: Blacktop Management) who led his team to a victory scoring 20 points and 4 steals. Point guard Daniel Zacek (180-1) helped adding 14 points. Four Tuebingen 2 players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Daniel Medo (197-95) with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds and guard Tim Steiner (186-92) scored 11 points and 6 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Tuebingen 2 maintains fifth place in South West with 7-5 record. Loser Kronberg keeps the fourth position with five games lost. Tuebingen 2 will meet at home Fellbach (#6) in the next round. Kronberg will play against Giessen Pointers and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
