There was an upset when much higher ranked TKS 49ers (8-5) were defeated on the road by seventh ranked Duesseldorf (6-6) 71-62 on Saturday. Duesseldorf forced 24 TKS 49ers turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Franklyn Aunitz (184-0) who helped to win the game recording 14 points and 5 rebounds and American guard Booker Coplin (191-97, college: Augsburg) who added 9 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals during the contest. At the losing side center Robin Jorch (211-94, college: Boise St.) responded with 14 points and 8 rebounds and Yannick Hildebrandt (195-97) scored 8 points and 8 rebounds.
