Important game to mention about took place in Tarsus. Fifth ranked Turk Telekom (6-6) saved a 2-point derby victory on the road edging 8th ranked TAC NEF (3-9) 76-74 on Sunday evening. Turk Telekom forced 19 TAC NEF turnovers. Strangely TAC NEF outrebounded Turk Telekom 45-28 including 33 on the defensive glass. Point guard Batuhan Acar (179-2) nailed a double-double by scoring 22 points, 8 rebounds and 11 assists for the winning side and Cenker Evran (-4) accounted for 19 points and 6 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). Anil Karaca (-3) came up with 21 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists and forward Emirali Gokturk (203-3) added 10 points and 17 rebounds respectively for TAC NEF in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Turk Telekom maintains fifth place in League with 6-6 record. TAC NEF at the other side dropped to the ninth position with nine games lost. Turk Telekom will play against league's second-placed Fenerbahce in Istanbul in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. TAC NEF will play at home against Petkim Spor (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
