Regular Season Round 12: Future Team - Deutsch-Wagram 64-72

We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when bottom-ranked Future Team (0-9) lost to seventh ranked Alligators (1-10) in Steiermark 64-72 on Sunday. The guests trailed by 1 point at the halftime before their 38-29 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. The winners were led by point guard Simon Marek (180-1) who scored that evening 15 points and Simon Okoro supported him with 9 points and 10 rebounds. Even 13 points by guard Jonathan Wess (192-3) did not help to save the game for Future Team. Forward David Voetsch (199-1) added 12 points and 6 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players saving starting five for next games. Alligators left bottom position moving up to sixth place. It was Future Team's ninth loss in a row. Newly promoted team still closes the standings with nine games lost. Alligators will meet higher ranked Blackbirds (#3) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Future Team will play against Blackbirds (#3) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
