Liga Nationala top team - Arad (13-1) added another victory to their record. This time they beat eleventh ranked Brasov (2-11) 74-70. Brasov was tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. They outrebounded Brasov 41-20 including a 29-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. American guard Andreona Keys (178-95, college: Purdue) scored 27 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Czech center Tereza Vitulova (188-99, college: S.Florida) chipped in 20 points and 7 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) during the contest. Keys is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas. Serbian forward Latinka Dusanic (175-90) responded with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists and Serbian guard Maja Scekic (170-87) scored 21 points and 4 assists.
