Not a big story in a game when 11th ranked Kretinga (8-17) was rolled over at home by third ranked Telsiai (20-5) 94-71 on Thursday. Telsiai looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Edgaras Stanionis (194-88) fired 19 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Vilius Pocius (196-95) chipped in 15 points and 4 assists. Center Rytis Zabita (200-94) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points and 14 rebounds and point guard Domininkas Matutis (178-91) added 18 points and 5 assists respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Telsiai moved-up to second place, which they share with Gargzdu. Newly promoted Kretinga keeps the eleventh position with 17 games lost. Telsiai will meet at home bottom-ranked Neptunas-Akv. (#14) in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Kretinga will play against the league's leader Suduva-Mantinga in Marijampole and hope to secure a win.
