Very expected game when 15th ranked MBC (4-12) was defeated on the road by ninth ranked Hamburg Towers (10-6) 84-76 on Friday. Hamburg Towers looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was Estonian center Maik-Kalev Kotsar (211-96, college: S.Carolina) who had a double-double by scoring 14 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. American swingman Caleb Homesley (198-96, college: Liberty) chipped in 19 points and 7 rebounds. Five Hamburg Towers players scored in double figures. Hamburg Towers' coach Pedro Calles used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. American forward Reggie Upshaw Jr. (203-95, college: MTSU) produced a double-double by scoring 27 points and 10 rebounds and the other American import center John Bryant (211-87, college: Santa Clara) added 12 points and 9 rebounds respectively for the guests.
