Regular Season Round 16: Saarlouis - Limburg 68-79

There was an upset when much higher ranked Saarlouis (9-4) were defeated at home by tenth ranked Limburg (6-8) 79-68 on Saturday. Limburg made 19-of-23 free shots (82.6 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American power forward KJ Sherrill (203-91, college: Augusta) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 31 points and 18 rebounds (made all of his nine free throws !!!) and Austrian-Croatian point guard Matej Kljaic (189-93) who added 24 points and 6 assists during the contest. At the losing side American guard TJ Lang (201-95, college: S.Florida) responded with a triple-double by scoring 26 points, 15 rebounds and 10 assists and his fellow American import guard Ricky Easterling (189-83, college: Bridgewater) scored 20 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Limburg moved-up to eighth place in South West. Loser Saarlouis keep the second position with four games lost. Limburg will meet at home Mannheim (#13) in the next round where they are favorite. Saarlouis will play against Ulm BBU 01 (#12) and hope to secure a win.
