There was a minor upset when 4th ranked Pinar Karsiyaka (8-6) was defeated on the road by seventh ranked TED Ankara (6-7) 62-52 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was Can Sayin (-3) who had a double-double by scoring 14 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists. Ege Cangal (-3) chipped in 20 points and 5 rebounds. Four TED Ankara players scored in double figures. Yusuf Akbiyik (-3) produced 15 points and 5 steals and Huseyin Sevig (-5) added 10 points and 9 rebounds respectively for the guests. Pinar Karsiyaka's coach Sinan Aksoylar rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. TED Ankara moved-up to sixth place in League. Loser Pinar Karsiyaka keeps the fourth position with six games lost. TED Ankara will meet higher ranked Darussafaka (#3) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
