There was no surprise when 9th ranked Vaerlose (4-8) was edged on the road by fifth ranked Horsens IC (6-5) 95-92 on Sunday. However just three-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Horsens IC made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American guard Andy Cleaves II (188, college: CS Stanislaus) scored 31 points and 8 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Bosnian forward Vedran Borovcanin (199-85) chipped in 13 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Four Horsens IC players scored in double figures. Point guard Asbjorn Nerlov (196-98) responded with 24 points and 9 rebounds and guard Karl Formann (192-98) scored 17 points and 7 rebounds. Horsens IC maintains fifth position with 6-5 record. Vaerlose lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the seventh place with eight games lost.
