Dunav can celebrate finally their first win this season after eight consecutive losses. The victory is especially important as it came on the road game in Gorna Oryahovitsa, where they defeated Lokomotiv GO (2-7) 82-66 on Sunday. Dunav forced 20 Lokomotiv GO turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Teodor Trifonov (194-6) who helped to win the game recording 30 points, 9 rebounds, 9 assists and 4 steals and forward Asen Neykov (194-5) who added 11 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Dunav's coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was swingman Toni Prokopiev (190-95) with a double-double by scoring 31 points and 18 rebounds and point guard Svetoslav Baychev (177-93) scored 12 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Newly promoted Dunav maintains sixth position with 1-8 record. It was Lokomotiv GO's fourth loss in a row. They keep the fourth place with seven games lost. They share the position with Chardafon. Dunav will meet at home higher ranked Vihar Aytos (#3) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Lokomotiv GO will play against Chardafon in Gabrovo and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
