There was a surprise result in Istanbul where 255th ranked Darussafaka (11-3) beat higher ranked TED Ankara (6-8) 66-60 on Friday. The best player for the winners was Mehmet Teoman who scored 19 points and 4 assists. Ulas Turgut (-3) chipped in 19 points. Darussafaka's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was Can Sayin (-3) who recorded 21 points and 4 steals and Ozcan Korkut (-2) added 8 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists respectively. Darussafaka moved-up to third place in League. Loser TED Ankara dropped to the seventh position with eight games lost. Darussafaka will meet league's leader Gaziantep on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. TED Ankara will play against Merkezefendi (#9) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
