Regular Season Round 15: Triglav - Jezica 88-54

The game between second ranked Triglav (12-1) and 8th ranked Jezica (2-9) in Kranj on Saturday ended with biggest points difference. Triglav outscored guests from Ljubljana 88-54. The game without a history. Triglav led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Jezica's 28. Triglav forced 30 Jezica turnovers and outrebounded them 38-23 including a 15-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Jezica's players. It was a good game for the former international point guard Rebeka Abramovic (172-93) who led her team to a victory with a triple-double by scoring 23 points, 5 rebounds, 10 assists and 10 steals. Manca Vrecer (178-2) contributed with 21 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Four Triglav players scored in double figures. Forward Hana Ivanusa (181-4) answered with 19 points and 7 rebounds and forward Elena Lazarevic (179-5) added 14 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Jezica. Jezica's coach Predrag Milovic gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Triglav have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain second place with 12-1 record having just one point less than leader Celje. Jezica lost third consecutive game. They keep the eighth position with nine games lost. Triglav are looking forward to face Konjice (#4) on the road in the next round. Jezica will play against Grosbasket (#3) and is hoping to prove to their supporters that they can break losing series.
