Rather expected game in Jennersdorf where 6th ranked Alligators (1-11) were crushed by third ranked Blackbirds (9-2) 69-43 on Saturday. The game without a history. Blackbirds led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Alligators to just 6 points in second quarter. Blackbirds forced 26 Alligators turnovers. The former international forward Sebastian Koch (201-88) fired 14 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Center Christoph Astl (186-88) chipped in 10 points and 8 rebounds. Blackbirds' coach Daniel Muellner felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Luiso Goed (196-3) produced 12 points and 7 rebounds and Marius Witzmann (-0) added 10 points respectively for lost side. Blackbirds have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They used an opportunity after Raiders lost their game and moved up joining them at the top position. Loser Alligators keep the sixth place with 11 games lost. Blackbirds will meet at home league's second-placed Nord Dragonz in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Alligators will play against BBU (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
