There was an upset when higher ranked Limburg (6-9) was defeated at home by fourteenth ranked Mannheim (4-10) 87-77 on Saturday. American guard Jeremy Ingram (183-91, college: AAMU) stepped up and scored 31 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners and Pascal Klahn chipped in 18 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. American power forward KJ Sherrill (203-91, college: Augusta) responded with 28 points and 6 rebounds and Noah Westerhaus (200-98) scored 21 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Mannheim moved-up to thirteenth place in South West. Loser Limburg keeps the ninth position with nine games lost. Mannheim will meet at home higher ranked Ulm BBU 01 (#11) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Limburg will play against Tuebingen 2 and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
