Not a big story in a game in Odessa where 5th ranked BIPA O. (5-13) was rolled over by second ranked Rivne (17-3) 76-56 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 5-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 76-56. Rivne dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to BIPA O.'s 28. The best player for the winners was Nigerian-Russian center Aleksey Adediran (206-82, college: Binghamton, agency: BIG) who had a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field). Forward Oleksandr Shepelev (201-94) chipped in a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds. Rivne's coach Mikhail Pereverziy used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Oleksandr Orieshyn (190-4) who recorded 15 points and 5 rebounds and forward Dmytro Solovei (185-2) added 13 points respectively. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Rivne. They maintain second place with 17-3 record having 2 victories less than leader Prometey-2. BIPA O. lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the fifth position with 13 games lost. They share it with Ch.Mavpy 2. Rivne will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. BIPA O. will play again against the league's second-placed Rivne (#2) and hope to secure a win.
