The game between closely ranked teams ended with 10th ranked Yalovaspor's (2-13) home loss to ninth ranked TAC NEF (4-10) 80-107 on Monday. TAC NEF dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Yalovaspor's 46. They outrebounded Yalovaspor 54-31 including a 23-10 advantage in offensive rebounds. TAC NEF looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. The best player for the winners was Berkan Silindir (-1) who had a double-double by scoring 27 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. Muhammed Aksu (-4) chipped in 22 points and 5 assists. Five TAC NEF players scored in double figures. TAC NEF's coach Necati Guler felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was Ahmet Ozbek who recorded a double-double by scoring 25 points and 10 rebounds and Yunus Severoglu (-3) added 15 points and 7 assists respectively. TAC NEF moved-up to eighth place in League. Newly promoted Yalovaspor keeps the tenth position with 13 games lost. TAC NEF will meet league's leader Anadolu Efes in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Yalovaspor will play against Bursaspor (#9) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
